Glenhead Kennels
Formally Sarah's Pet Services, we first opened our kennels in the outskirts of Elgin in 2019. When we moved to Glenhead of Coachford we took the kennels with us and are now known as Glenhead Kennels. Fully insured and licensed we offer dog holidays from our blocks of 10 kennels. Our modern and cosy kennels are fully fitted with underfloor heating and all dogs enjoy regular walks in our private and secure woodland and fields.
The Kennels
We have 2 blocks of 5 kennels, each kennel is large enough to accommodate families of dogs/dogs of large breed. The kennels are heated by underfloor heating and each kennel has access to an individual outside covered run. We can provide Hi-K9 raised dog beds and vet bedding, or your more than welcome to supply your dogs own bed from home.
We do insist on you providing your dogs usual food so we can stick to their normal feeding routines. This helps to prevent any upset tummies and keeps your dogs familiar. With both fridges and freezers on site we can store raw and fresh food if required.
All dogs must be up to date with their yearly vaccinations and you will be required to provide proof of this. Kennel cough vaccine is not compulsory. Please read our T&Cs for full information before booking.

Opening Hours
We are open 9.15am-10am and 4pm-5pm 7 days a week for drop off and pick ups.
Please note there is no access out with these times. The premises is monitored by CCTV.
We are closed for drop off/pick ups Christmas Day & New Years Day.
Exercise
We are big on regular exercise at Glenhead Kennels with every dog getting out 4 times a day. Typically our guests are allowed out first thing in the morning for the toilet and a stretch of the legs, followed by 2x 30min walks- one in the morning and one again in the afternoon. During the evening they get out again for a final stretch of the legs and toilet before bed. There is an option to pay for longer 45mins walks am and pm. We do change this routine slightly for older dogs/puppies to allow them more frequent but shorter walks, and we do alter the routine accordingly during extreme weather/heat.
Again depending on your dog and their temperament we can accommodate both group walks as well as solo walks. Please do let us know of any behavioural issues your dog may have so we can make his/her stay as stress-free as possible. Any new dogs staying with us must book a trial day/night first before any further bookings are made, this is to ensure your dog is happy and relaxed in the kennel environment.
Walks are enjoyed within our private woodland and field which are securely fenced with both 6ft deer fencing and mesh along the bottom.

Prices are per day and will include arrival and departure day.
Longer 45mins walks are available at an additional charge of £2 per walk.
Pampers - Baths & Blow Dries are available to book for your dog before they go home. Prices are dependant on breed and these must be booked at the time of booking your dog into the kennels.
