This wet felted backed sheep fleece rug is handmade from a Lleyn sheep fleece and shetland backing wool. Different from a sheep skin rug as this fleece was shorn from the sheep and the sheep lives on to produce another fleece next year!
Due to a couple of tears in the fleece at shearing time it has turned out a bit patchy and not quite so fluffy at the bottom upon closer inspection. It would make an ideal dog/pet bed. Approximate sizes of this rug are 1.1m wide x 1.3m long, at the widest/longest parts.
Please note all our rugs are handmade from real sheep fleeces and therefore unique and natural in appearance.
