Whole Box of Herdwick Mutton Meat (Approx 10-12kg of meat)

Each box will contain a mixture of cuts - Leg and Shoulder on the Bone, Rack, Chops, Flanks and Shanks.

Our Herdwick sheep are home bred and reared on  a grass/hay only diet. Being a native breed they are slower to mature so best enjoyed as Hogget (when a sheep is between 1-2years old) rather than lamb, or Mutton. The slow growing nature of the breed, along with the natural diet gives a premium tender meat which is full of flavour. With Mutton having a ricer, intense gamey flavour.

Limited amount of boxes available and this will be our only batch this year, so once they are gone they are gone! All boxes will be ready for collection weekend of 27th/28th September from here, or alternatively we can deliver to Huntly, Keith, Mosstodloch, Fochabers and Garmouth that weekend.
